Guardians of the Climate is a community-driven climate justice event series based out of Los Angeles, California. They bring together thought-leaders and makers locally to work collaboratively towards a more sustainable world and celebrate the beauty of nature.



A SYMBOL OF PROTECTION
In conversations with Georgina James, G.O.C.’s founder, we talked extensively about her reverence for nature. She finds too many conversations around climate change feel hopeless and strangely disconnected from why our world is so worth saving. She wants G.O.C. to encourage sustainability while still feeling like a celebration of our world. With this in mind, I wanted to create a brand system that felt very organic. The logo is inspired by stone and wood carvings, the turtle representing protection.
